Five settings to check before your first ranked match
Sensitivity, field of view, audio and more: get them right once and stop thinking about them.
Ranked matches are not the place to discover that your sensitivity is wrong. Spend fifteen minutes on these five settings in a practice mode first.
1. Sensitivity
Pick one sensitivity and stick with it for at least a week. Constant tweaking feels productive but makes it harder for your muscle memory to settle.
2. Field of view
A wider field of view shows more around you; a narrower one makes targets bigger. Most players land somewhere in the middle. Choose what lets you track enemies comfortably.
3. Audio
Turn music down and effects up. Use headphones, and turn on any footsteps or spatial audio option the game offers.
4. Crosshair
A small, high-contrast crosshair that stays visible on every map beats anything flashy.
5. Keybinds
Move important actions to keys you can reach without lifting your movement fingers. If you keep pressing the wrong key in fights, rebind it.
